Baby Nursery Design
Man, time really does fly by when you're pregnant. It feels like I've been working on this nursery forever. And now, the time has come to FINALLY display all we've been working on.
Before I got pregnant, the room itself was in no shape for any living space, let alone a nursery. It needed patch work, paint, new floors, closet doors, etc.
It's difficult when your hubby works in construction because he #1. wants to do everything himself to save money (unless he absolutely needs to hire someone to complete something he won't attempt himself), #2. takes forever to complete anything because he works full time and is completing the reno project himself and #3. needs motivation to complete the project because he wants to spend his weekends resting from his full time job, rather than doing more work on the nursery. Luckily for me, my husband works well with deadlines. Since a baby comes within 9 months, he's had plenty of time to complete this project and I couldn't be happier.
Below are pics of the nursery (but they don't do it justice) and links to the items we purchased and received as gifts for the nursery (I registered at Amazon.com and Buy Buy Baby).
I hope you enjoy the decor as much as I do. I'm pretty much obsessed with it. - Julie🌹
